Covina home suffered roof leak from rain damage - PART 2
Living in the San Gabriel Valley, we all have experienced heavy winds at some point where noticeable damage occurs. In this instance, the wind blew hard enough to sweep away roof shingles (see PART 1), exposing the roof to the outside elements. At the very next rain, water came right through, seeping into the family room ceiling and staining it. In addition to roof repairs, the inside of the structure needed to be dried out to avoid any mold issues.
This 'before' picture shows rain water soaking the family room ceiling. Our team was called out to temporarily tarp the roof and began repairs right away. The 'after' looks fresh, clean and dry.
