Covina home suffered roof leak from rain damage - PART 1

Lots of California sun may have contributed to the wear and tear of these shingles. Then on a particularly windy day, it blew away several protective roof shingles, exposing the roof further to the elements. At the very next rain, water came right through staining the family room ceiling (see PART 2). This 'after' picture shows the temporary roof tarp that we put up just prior to beginning the dry out of the structure and the repairs inside and out.
